An interactive system is an open system which includes user inputs and provides feedback to the user. It constitutes a dialogue between the art work and the user which influences, transforms, the sender operating mode as the receiver's perception / cognition. This two-way effect redefines the relation, the significance, between the object and the subject. As such it is the most opposed to a one-way causal effect such as analytic systems.
